A Japanese-lifestyle cocktail bar in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District, POP CITY is designed as a cultural living room — bringing Japanese craft and cosmopolitan rhythm together in a space where every detail hums with emotion.

The bar’s name is a playful inversion of City Pop, the music genre of the 1980s that became the soundtrack of optimism during Japan’s economic boom. Just as City Pop fused Western influences with Japanese sensibility, POP CITY translates that spirit into today’s cosmopolitan context: a cocktail bar that celebrates Japanese craft while rooted in Singapore’s dynamic city life.

Led by Bar Manager Sylvia Chong and Principal Bartender Chris Foo, POP CITY opens its doors on 26 November 2025. The signature cocktail menu moves between categories of POP — inspired by the musical energies of Japan — and CITY, drawing from textures and elegance of Japanese fashion.
